Historic Tour: Rails to Trails, Exploring Boreas Pass Train Stations and Stops with Bill Fountain
Join us as local historian and author Bill Fountain shares a brief history of the Denver, South Park & Pacific Railroad before we embark on the tour. Our tour will include stops at Rocky Point, Argentine/Bacon Station, Bakers Tank, Signature Sandstone, Dwyer/Belmont Station, Farnham Spur, Farnham Station, and Boreas Pass Station & Section House.
At each location, Mr. Fountain will share its rich history along with historic photographs. This tour is inspired by the book Historic Landscapes, Train Stations, and Sites, Volume 1.

- Tickets: $25 for SHS & Blue River Watershed Group Members | $35 for non-members
- Location: Meet at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena Parking Lot
- Limited to 25 Guests

Extra Details:
- This tour is primarily a driving tour. We will car pool to minimize number of vehicles;
- Driving will be on a well maintained dirt road;
- Bring your own lunch.
