Historic Hike: Peru Creek Tour with Interpretive Walks at the Chihuahua Ghost Town and Pennsylvania Mine with Ken Torrington

Do you like ghost towns? Step back in time to the silver mining days on Peru Creek. Join Ken Torrington as we drive up Peru Creek road, and he talks about life in the 1800s in the lost silver towns of Chihuahua, the Pennsylvania mine, and Argentine. We will stop for lunch at one of the adits of the Pennsylvania mine.

- Location: Peru Creek trailhead, about 5 miles up Montezuma Road from Keystone
- Tickets: $25 for SHS and BRWG Members; $35 for Non-Members

Wear comfortable shoes and bring layered clothing. Bring your own water, lunch, and camp chair. Off-road vehicle recommended; however, rides in 4-Wheel Drive vehicles are available. The road is well maintained, packed dirt/gravel, but some rocky sections exist. Restroom facilities not available.
