SUMMARY:Full Moon Historic Walk & Chili Cookoff
DESCRIPTION:photo credit \nJoin us for a guided\, historic walk under a full moon on the shores of Lake Dillon\, followed by a old-west\, chili cookoff.\nDate/Time:  Saturday\, February 4th @ 5:30 – 8:00pm\nLocation:  Meet at the Dillon Amphitheater parking lot\nSunset:  5:27pm;  walk will begin at 5:30pm\nWalking Distance: 1.1 miles round-trip\nWalking Time:  Approximately 45 minutes\nChili Cookoff will follow the hike:  Dillon Community Church\, beginning at approximately 6:30pm\nProceeds from the chili cook off will benefit the restoration of our recently acquired historic cabin. \nWant to skip the walk and go straight for the chili?  No problem!  You can come directly to Dillon Community Church at 6:30pm. \nRegistration Deadline:  Friday\, February 3rd @12:00 Noon \nMembers: $30\nNon-Members: $40 \nNot a member?  Click HERE to join \nWeather:\nUnless conditions include a raging blizzard\, the historic walk will go ahead as planned.\nDress warmly and be prepared for changing\, windy weather.\nSlippery and icy conditions will exist as we walk along the rec path.\nBe prepared with appropriate boots\, YakTrax\, hand warmers\, flashlight\, ski poles\, etc. \nIf you are unable to attend for any reason\, please call us at the office: (970) 468-2207 \n____________________________________________________________ \nInterested in entering the chili cookoff as a contestant?\nSend us an email at matt@summithistorical.org\n\n\n	Related
