We will stop for lunch at one of the adits of the Pennsylvania mine. \n\nMonday\, July 8\n8:45 AM\, 1/2 day driving/walking tour\nLocation: Peru Creek trailhead\, about 5 miles up Montezuma Road from Keystone\nTickets: $25 for SHS and BRWG Members; $35 for Non-Members\nLimited to 20 Guests\nReserve by July 7 at noon\n\nTo become a member click here! \nWear comfortable shoes and bring layered clothing. Bring your own water\, lunch\, and camp chair.  Off-road vehicle recommended; however\, rides in 4-Wheel Drive vehicles are available.  The road is well maintained\, packed dirt/gravel\, but some rocky sections exist. Restroom facilities not available.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a chili cook-off and watch the moon rise over Summit County. You may enter your chili to compete for prizes and bragging rights for the Best Chili in Summit County. Voting is $1 a vote with proceeds going to the SHS Educational Scholarship Fund. \nThis is an SHS Member-Only event\, being hosted by Sandy and Sloan Colt. The Colts live down valley from Silverthorne\, 10 miles north of I70\, off Highway 9\, just below the Acorn Creek Trailhead.  This is a perfect place to watch the full moon rise over Summit County. \n\nTime: June 22\, 6:30 – 10:00 pm\nLocation: provided to registrants only\nCost: $25.00\, SHS Members Only\nLimited to 30 guests\nRegister by June 20\nProceeds from the chili cook off will go to the SHS Educational Scholarship Fund.\n\nInterested in entering the chili cookoff as a contestant?
