SUMMARY:History Talk: The 1873 Hayden Survey of Colorado

One of these was the U.S. Geological and Geographical Survey of\nthe Territories\, run by Ferdinand V. Hayden. This included Hayden’s survey of Colorado between 1873\nto 1876. This was the first comprehensive survey of the territory\, which when finished made Colorado the\nbest mapped state in the Union\, a fact demonstrated in Hayden’s great Atlas of Colorado (1878). \n\nSpace is limited to 30 guests.  \n\nClick Here for Directions to Our 1883 Dillon Schoolhouse Museum
