SUMMARY:Member Only Historic Hike: Driving Tour of Boreas Pass Road Train Stations & Stops with Bill Fountain
DESCRIPTION:This will be a driving tour that will include stops at Rocky Point\, Argentine/Bacon Station\, Bakers\nTank\, Signature Sandstone\, Dwyer/Belmont Spur\, Farnham Spur\, Farnham Station and Boreas\nPass Station & Section House. Bill will share the history of these locations and\, at some of the\nstops\, we will do short hikes to see what remains at those location. Bill will share lots of\nhistoric photos\, maps\, and documents. \nWe will plan to meet at the Ice Rink community parking lot at 8:45 am and carpool to keep the\nnumber of vehicles on the tour to a minimum. \nThe tour will end at 1:00 pm at Boreas Pass. Participants should bring a lunch and Bill will visit\nand answer any questions. \nWe will plan to arrive back at the Ice Rink community parking lot by 2:15. \n\nTuesday\, July 23\n8:45 AM  –  2:15 PM\nLocation: meet at the Ice Rink Community Parking Lot in Breckenridge no later than 8:45am\nTickets: $25 for SHS Members\nLimited to 26 SHS Members\nReserve by midnight\, Monday\, July 22\n\nWear comfortable shoes.  Bring your own water\, lunch\, and camp chair.   \nTo become a member click here!
