SUMMARY:Historical Hike: Lost Silver Towns of Peru Creek
DESCRIPTION:Step back in time to the silver mining days on Peru Creek.  Join Ken Torrington as we drive up Peru Creek road\, and he talks about life in the 1800s in Chihuahua\, the Pennsylvania mine\, and Argentine. We will stop for lunch at one of the adits of the Pennsylvania mine. \n\nMonday\, June 27th\n8:45 AM\, 1/2 day driving tour\nLocation: Peru Creek trailhead\, about 5 miles up Montezuma Road from Keystone\nTickets: $25 for SHS Members; $35 for Non-Members\nLimited to 25 Guests\nReserve by June 26th at 4PM\n\n  \nWear comfortable shoes.  Bring your own water\, lunch\, and camp chair.  Off-road vehicle not required — road is well maintained\, packed dirt/gravel. \nTo become a member click here!
